Infiniti Q60 (2017)

Infiniti Q60 After

Overall: 7/10
Performance: 7/10
Exterior: 6/10
Interior: 7/10
Comfort: 8/10
Sound: 6/10
Price: 6/10
Running costs: 7/10

Very surprising as the spec shows 208BHP and 0-60 in 7.3 seconds. When driving it, it feels like it performs a lot better than what it says on paper. It takes off really smoothly and quickly and going through the corners the hydraulic steering feels sublime! So light and easy to use it really relaxes you. This car isn’t really aimed for the younger drivers so it suits its market really well.

Looks very modern and quite sporty. Some sharp details which gives it more of a defined look. The front of the car does look really stylish but the back is where it’s let down I think. Just does not look right. Only conciliation is the double exhausts which makes the rear bearable.

Fairly basic interior materials in quite a curvy style. Not to my taste but isn’t too bad. The electronics are impressive with an Audi style virtual cockpit. Very easy to understand and provides a lot of information.

One of the more relaxing cars I have driven in my time. Suspension very smooth along with the steering. I would find this an excellent car for long journeys! But when you want to put your foot down it will respond very well!

This car would excel more in the comfort region so the sound is silenced really well. Personally I like to hear the exhaust but the sound cancellation is very good in this car so would be ideal for long motorway drives.

New: £30,000

Running Costs:
Not too bad on running cost, I only drove this briefly but the the MPG was always above 30, going from thrashing it to cruising it really isn’t bad. Tax is around £190 and insurance for me is about average. If anything it may be a bit too expensive. I cannot comment on servicing but I would expect it to be standard price for Infiniti’s

Overall Verdict:
I was pleasantly surprised with this car as I was expecting it to be sluggish and uncomfortable. I was very wrong. It pulls really well in immense comfort. It is aimed for the older generation so it doesn’t look too aggressive and sporty but looks good with the modern style. I wouldn’t buy one myself as there are better options available but Infiniti are bringing out some better quality cars in the future!
